Job Information, Job Description, Responsibilities
- Installing, planning and configuring the system infrastructure of Windows (Windows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and Active Directory)
- Support creation, modification of scripts to automate work processes
- Vulnerability management – fixing system security vulnerabilities based on reports
- Implementation of requirements based on Change management
- Handling issues and incidents in Windows server environment
- Windows L2/L3 support
- on-call
- Participation in projects
- Creating and continuously updating operational and system documentation
Employee requirements
Education in IT
Language skills: English – Intermediate (B2) or German – Intermediate (B2)
Other knowledge
Windows Server Administrator – Advance
Linux Server Administrator – Advance
Personal qualifications, skills and knowledge
Several years of experience in Windows Server administration
Knowledge of Active Directory
knowledge of scripting language (PowerShell, Python, etc.) welcome
Knowledge of server virtualization
Experience with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V
Experience with Windows clusters
Experience with Windows System Center components
Knowledge of ITIL and Windows certifications is a plus
Experience working in a WSUS and patching environment
Basic knowledge of Linux
Experience with SCCM an advantage
SCOM monitoring a plus
GPO configuration a plus
MS Defender for endpoint a plus
Ability to work in a team
High willingness to learn
