Splunk Engineer

We are looking for the new Splunk Engineer colleague to provide technical support within the Raiffeisen Group.

You can work in a combination of : Nitra+Homeoffice/Presov+Homeoffice/remote by agreement

Your tasks:
• Splunk deployment and configuration:
managing the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Splunk solutions to ensure effective management of logs, security information, and events (SIEM).
• Security incident response:
Respond to incidents by analyzing and responding to security incidents using Splunk as the primary tool for investigation and analysis.
• Security monitoring:
Develop and maintain security monitoring solutions using Splunk to proactively detect and respond to security threats.
• Threat hunting:
Proactive threat hunting exercises using Splunk queries and other tools to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration and training:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall security posture, including training employees on the effective use of Splunk and related security tools.
• Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Splunk configurations, security procedures, and incident response processes.

Employee requirements

Education in IT
Language skills: English – Intermediate (B2)

Personal qualifications, skills and knowledge
• Flexible, team player
• Communicative level of English (everyday communication in English)
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting

Another skills: 
• Windows PowerShell – Advanced
• Bash – Advanced
