Job Information, Job Description, Responsibilities
We are looking for high experienced experienced Linux System Administrator with hands-on experience in automation, managing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based server environments. Skilled in supporting production systems, ensuring stability, performance, and automation.
If you are comfortable working with common Linux distributions and performing day-to-day administration tasks, troubleshooting, and automation and familiar with security best practices and compliance-oriented environments, you are the right one for us.
We are a part of international agile team which supports our customers within Raiffeisen group.
We have our offices in Presov and Nitra, but you can work from home/remotely as well.
Core Responsibilities & Skills:
• High skills with Linux servers (RHEL 7, 8, 9, 10 installation, configuration, maintenance)
• High skills with automation in Linux environments
• System monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management
• Patch management and system updates (RHEL sat)
• Troubleshooting OS, service, and application issues
• User, group, and permission management
• Backup and recovery operations (TSM)
• Scripting and automation (Bash, Shell) / (Python, Salt, terraform)
• Documentation of system configurations and operational procedures
Employee requirements
Education in IT
Language skills: English – Intermediate (B2)
Security & Compliance:
• Understanding of Linux security hardening and best practices (CIS)
• Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements and compliance principles
• Support of vulnerability remediation and audit activities
• Access control and secure system configuration
Professional Profile:
• High-level experience with strong Linux fundamentals and automation
• Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Continuous learner with interest in security and automation
